The woman got me a new camera, Nikon D600. She crazy.

Obviously she did it so I could take fancy-schmancy baby pics. Still.

How does it compare to your other nice camera?

 

[Matty]

It's light-years beyond my old one. Stuff that used to be done manually during post-processing is now handled by the camera itself (HDR, distortion correction). The camera knows the lenses you put on, it knows their faults and it corrects them before saving the image file to your memory card. Amazing.

I haven't even explored half the new features. Ridiculous amount of control for what is still a consumer-grade camera.
