Leaving for Vegas on Tuesday, pal.

:handshake:
Glad to hear it's still on. Have a good trip. Hopefully things are more or less normal, I plan on going back end of August.

The Aria pool experience today was great all things considered.

The customer service experience inside the casino is a D+ at best.

I watched MLB in the sportsbook (with $500 in play) for 2 hours and not once was I asked if I wanted a drink. Then I played poker for 3 hours and not once was I asked if I wanted a drink. And quick bite options are decreased by 90%.

Sounds about par for the course even pre Corona

Circa is where it’s at.

21+, stadium pool with jumbo screens showing live sports.

yes it's pretty disappointing. As a young struggling gambler I dreamt of an oasis, a paradise for bettors, that I would make it to, once I became a winner.
Pretty sad that it's hard to get a free drink of well whiskey in a plastic cup, or a reasonably priced sandwich. And all kind of idiocy invented recently to only fleece tourists.
Vegas was probably never what I imagined it was, but the degradation and pettiness in recent years is hard to swallow.

Maybe it's good if Vegas downsizes big time, and gets back to basics.

...Nevertheless, can still be profitable and enjoyable for my purposes. I plan on being there soon

Downtown is classy in an adorably outdated, white-trash kind of way. Cloth napkin with your greasy cheeseburger.

Can't wait to make it back out since our trip in March got cancelled. Looking forward to seeing Circa especially during football season.

My buddy is roped in at the D Las Vegas.

We had dinner at Andiamo on Thursday night and we met Derek Stevens right before dinner. My buddy’s host (Rich) introduced us. Derek owns the D and Circa. Very down to earth, personable guy.

The baby Tomahawk bone in, gnocchi and spaghetti at Andiamo were super deluxe. The meatballs were not.

I’m back home

that was a MUCH different Aria experience than my previous 6 or 7 Aria stays

Good news was this was not me. Bad news was that fg at end beat my Texans +3.5 2nd half bet.
0-3 -$330,000 is a rough start to NFL season for someone.

Didn't make it before kickoff.

How's Aria rooms compare to Bellagios? And what exactly is Vdara? I got some offer, don't know which to pick.

Have not stayed at Bellagio but Aria is very comfortable. Automated shades and lights which is nice. Big bathroom and have never been disappointed. Sportsbook is decent with Kiosks all over to get bets in even with long lines.
