no, that's called a 3 way handicap

a traditional spread would have a pk push on spread 0

3 way handicap are worse because you have a tie option on the bet

betting Barça on that 0:2 would be the equivalent of -2.5 on a regular spread, while betting Elche would be the equivalent of +1.5, betting the tie option is practicaly betting the proposition that Barça will win by a difference of 2 goals


besides the additional juice you can see how great these are for books and how aweful they are for bettors
