In Key West. Tried to dress like a tourist for the hell of it.

I was recently looking at some $300 cruises out of Bayonne, NJ. Get the best deals last minute.

Also every cruise has a casino. How is gambling cruise any different?

It's not a gambling cruise where that's all there is.

I got a reduced price because of my past casino gambling.

The internet rate for the trip is $800 more.

I've been on a half dozen cruises. I just get into a drunken stupor and pass out in the room. Then wake up a do it all over again. Never had a chance to be claustrophobic. Unless you plan on hanging out in the room all day.

I agree with Casper's friend. LOVE sitting out on the balcony and having morning coffee... Of course I went with a smoker too so it was not an option...but I would spend the extra money. Those rooms are so small. Are you going with someone Casper? Do they have single rooms...I think most are double occupancy. Anyway, for the price he's getting, definitely good to have the balcony. You will want to hang out by the pools by the day...that's where you will meet people and have a blast. If you do the formal dining deal, you sit with about 4 other couples and it's pretty formal. That would have been nice one or two nights, but doing it every night was not for me. I would not choose that option again.

fwiw, I had the worst luck of my roulette career on the ship Some scientist guy was there telling me the wheel wasn't level or something. I don't know..was probably just bad luck. People seemed to have better luck on slots than on the table games.

Blitty-was cruises have you done and which was your favorite?

I am going alone but my room is double occupancy.

Yeah, I'm curious how the dining situation will go.

I'm going to spend most of the cruise drinking and trying to meet single women.

I will play BJ for 3 hours a day to keep the appearance I am a casino player lol.

Well if you got a double occupancy room, then that makes your rate even better. You will appreciate the extra room. Did you join some Royale club or something for the casino?

There will be plenty of dining options available. We ate a lot of room service in the early hours after the club (also free but limited options)

I didn't join any club or anything. It's my first cruise so if I like it, I'll sign up for a club for the future. As long as I gamble, I'll get discounted prices in the future.
I was reading about how much you had to play to get the approved rating on RC for future cruises...somewhere on line...I think it was 2 hours @either $25 or $50/hand for bj. From someone who did the gamble for trips/shows/limos/food/etc in the past -ev. Have some fun, but don't get caught up in playing for future "stuff"
And yes, what Blitty said...Bring in your own booze! As much as you can anyway.

Blitty..very cool. Damn that was cheap. I have a picture of my brother with Glen Dash there. I think he did some archeological dig thing. Not sure it would be for me...looked hot and dusty.
