Just got a phone call from a casino cruise advisor. He ran my rating record through a database and offered me a cruise.

7 days on the Royal Carribean Oasis Of The Sea w a balcony stateroom ocean view for $739.

Food is included, but not drinks. I was told you get free drinks at the tables though.

You guys ever go on a cruise? Is that a good deal?

Are they fun?

you can find just as good of deals, with everything included and they all have casinos... wont feel obligated to gamble just to get free drinks... 99.9999999999999999987 % of the fun of cruises is hunting wounded doves... the other % is to gamble ... its obvious math stuffs :mrx:

I had one of the best times of my life on mine. (7 day Mexican Riviera) Where is it going? When you say Ocean View...you would want to make sure it has a balcony. BIG difference. Those rooms are TINY.

Most that I have looked at do not include drinks anywhere...Now I did get one or two comped in the casino but that is rare from what I understand Most of my casino drinks were charged to my room. We saw a couple of people win big jackpots on slots while there (5 figures-one like 50k) The price is like Ray said OK....not fabulous...especially if you feel compelled to gamble.

Personally I would go on a cruise for the experience/ports of call. You can go to a casino anywhere.

Just googled the ship....largest ship in the world? If that is the case, it may be a good price. There are a lot of cruise review sites and I found one for this ship, but not from a gambling angle. I'm sure not hard to find though. I would love to take another one or two in my life, but man...there have been some REALLY bad incidents over the last few years (partly why they are so cheap now)

The guy told me it was the largest ship.

It is a balcony room ocean view.

It goes to the Bahamas with a stop at Atlantis (so I can bet sports)

Ray Ray, I looked online and found that pricing for this ship was a bit more.

I definitely will be spending time talking to girls.

IAG
Balcony room Ocean View..hahaha Isn't that redundant?
Never mind! I was looking at the rooms and apparently they have balconies that face inward on this boat that overlook a "neighborhood." Wow. 14,000 rooms on that thing. The one I went on had 2 or 3k and I would get lost on that thing...it was like a small city. I can't imagine how big that thing is.

Bacon-would be fun, but honestly, I would do another all inclusive before another cruise I think. Not having a casino around added to the relaxation effect. I would like to take an Alaskan cruise someday though. My folks did that one and enjoyed it.
