Cb. I am going to find and send you my twitter address and I want you to tweet some interesting things next week. I will give my opinion of twitter based solely on ur tweets and retweets...yours and the other 4-5 people I have on there. I actually have retweeted local 911 feed which is often hilarious. I only pretty much know how to retweet. I don't get all the @ and # stuff.
 
The hashtags (#) are for those tweeting about the same things, meaning if you want those searching for what you are tweeting about it's good to use hashtags prior to key words:

#Arkansas had no shot tonight. #Alabama didn't even play their starters after half. #rolltide

On your Twitter page look to the left, those are the trending topics/keywords
 
Today on the radio in my car, Twitter got mentioned twice. Why?

(1) Someone is retracting a story that they broke through Twitter earlier. They tweeted some news but it was wrong. It would have been an incredibly stupid and unimportant story if it was right - but it was wrong. So now they are unbreaking the stupid unimportant story.

(2) People are offended at something someone tweeted. Offended people on twitter was the story. But then some people are mad at the offended people. There is name-calling, slurs and threats back and forth. The original tweet, if you calmly looked at it, was devoid of anything meaningful but it doesn't matter; people spin it in whatever direction they need to get self-righteous. And then the tweeter of the original tweet backtracks on what he tweeted (even though it was absolutely nothing).


Twitter's biggest problem is Twitter. I can't recall ever hearing anything from it that made me think, okay that makes me want to dig deeper. More than anything, the Twitter effect is people are semi-hysterical cockroaches.

If you can, like to know how to use Twitter? Think it would help especially for college hoops betting for me! I mean rooting for Richmond I go to blogs and see maybe students whoever mentioning this/that guy will/will not play that night! Already seen posts from students who watched practice and mentioned how team was looking so far! Would rather go right to Twitter and get everything!

With college sports better cause with smaller conference teams you don't always get the best info on injuries from the big betting sites! Kind of like "word on the street" style with Twitter! If easier for you to PM the twitter process when you time, please do! I would really appreciate it!

A good start is going to RAS and adding who he follows. Go on SBNation and add those bloggers who are of interest also. I have a lot also @phairwarning
