I have, but really have no idea what I'm doing. I think I saw a Twitter for Dummies book the other day. I like the concept.

Twitter is alright, just a random place to blurb about shit. No one would really even see what you write unless they are following you. I used to use it years ago, now I only use it for work.

Like, I think the whole concept of celebrity is lame, but at least celebrities have thousands of followers.

Don't care about celebs. I understand some news can be gotten quicker that way but I am virtually never in an every-second-counts frame of mind. If it's important, I'll hear about it in good time.

About once a month I go to my page see a bunch of interesting news stories, think this is pretty cool, read some shit then never look at it again that month. Unless choo is missing, then i check up on him there.

It can be if that's who you want to follow. Most celebrities and active players are not worth following on there - they don't really say anything.

Twitter is the greatest marketing tool of all time. Yes I use it. I don't follow many celebs though, mostly those in the gambling industry or things related to Astrology/Numerology. Some useful sports stuff is out there too-injury updates are instant. Lineups for baseball are instant too, always before other sites have them.

If you think Twitter is all about celebrities you don't know much about Twitter. Don't listen to these boneheads. Of course some people use it for that, but it's so much more. Think of the top 10 things you're interested in: movies, music, sports, decorating, travel, politics, whatever. You'll find a ton of uses for it.
