Do you sort cash before putting it in your wallet?

I saw an interview with a celebrity (I think it was Will Smith) a few years back where the interviewer was making fun of him because he had the "weird habit" of keeping all of the bills in his wallet facing the same way and in sequential order.

I didn't really understand the joke because I couldn't fathom NOT doing this. I always carry bills in my wallet smallest in front to biggest in back, all facing the same way. If I go to the ATM for Vegas and grab $500 in $20s I'm sorting every one of those fuckers before putting in wallet.

Do you guys just cram bills into your pockets/wallets like savages or also have order to the process?
 
I do insta-sort bills the few times I have cash in there.
 
I do. And it annoys me when the bills come out all backward from those ticket machines in casino. you'd think they'd have em sorted properly in there
 
I don't sort. I would never have a huge assortment of denominations - mostly 20's - maybe there's a 5 or a 10 - it can't help but be nearly sorted anyway.

But that's not even the point. It just doesn't matter. What's in there is in there.

I don't sort. I would never have a huge assortment of denominations - mostly 20's - maybe there's a 5 or a 10 - it can't help but be nearly sorted anyway.

But that's not even the point. It just doesn't matter. What's in there is in there.

I remember a high school teacher calling me out in as I was reorganizing the bills in my wallet.

The task took priority over learning about the inner workings of semi-feudal New France. No regrets.
 
I think my not stressing over currency orientation is the main reason I can be 56 and not have a grey hair on my head.

Reasons for no grey hair:
1. Main Reason: Shoving bills into wallet willy nilly. Upside down 20, backwards 10, front facing 20, front facing 5, upside down 5, backwards 1, upside down backwards 10, upside down 1.
2. Lesser Reasons: Genetics, not stressing about things other than bill placement.
 
I’d bet that besides muddys wallet; everything else in his apartment is well sorted out and organized.

Not gonna lie, if the place above is a 10 on the messiness scale, mine is probably a 4 or a 5. We're not hoarders but we've got too much stuff fo sho.
