Blitty, I spent a night at the SoHo Grand 18 years ago. One of the best nights of my life.

The night before I slept on the floor of a hotel room that didn't even have air conditioning.

Weird weekend.

Rock on.

Where are you that rent would be so cheap?

Ouellette Ave. just north of Tecumseh.

he's in the projects!!!
lol, no.

You fukkin guys still haven't realized how important getting the best number really is.

I moved to Windsor to get the best number available.

common.

PS: Thursday took the train to Toronto, stayed overnight, then rented a UHaul on Friday, loaded it with my stuff and drove 4 hours to my new home.

Took me 2 hours unloading the truck as I did it solo. (Yes, really.)

My fucking back hurts.

Plommer, not hiring Mexicans or Guatemalans to help you move is very -EV.

Common, plommer. You have to be a pro 24/7.

#YOLO

Daffaaaaay!

I was going to head down to the local Salvation Army shelter for men and hire a guy to help but I started unloading the truck using a shopping cart and two wheel dolly and was going so well I didn't really need help, except to get my couch in the elevator from the truck. There was a man with his wife who were waiting for me to move my truck so they could bring in a new couch themselves and the guy gave me a hand.

I spent most of the night getting setup in the new place, still no cable or internet, haven't even ordered it yet, using wifi at Tim Hortons right now.

I'm sitting here having coffee - guy on bike rolls up says to me "hey buddy can I ask you something?"
me: "sure, as long as you don't ask me for money"

him: "I'm on the streets, was wondering if you could help me out with some spare change?"

me: "you broke the agreement - you asked for money - now fukk off pal"

Over the years I have noticed that when young males (especially on bikes) preface with "excuse me -can I ask you a question" 100% of the time they are looking for a handout.

I try to be a generous guy and give money to those in need when I can but some young punk on a bike looking for money to buy crack won't get a cent from me.

I got lots to do today.

weeeeeeee

Good. Your surprised me by picking Windsor as your next destination.
Windsor is inexpensive, and I have a neice and her sons that live here already. Also have cousins in the city and it's only a 4 hour trip back to the big city. I like the place - lived here with my cousin back in 1995 when I came back to Ontario after living in Vancouver BC in 1993-1994.

McBalls, I LOVE living in a border city.
Used to spend alot of time in Ft Erie Ontario - just across the Niagara river from Buffalo NY.

We enjoy the variety of FM radio stations Detroit offers, also like the amount of over the air HD TV broadcasts originating in Michigan.

Not a fan of alot of the programming on CBS/ABC/NBC etc, but do enjoy Public TV (PBS), Detroit has more than one PBS channel.
