Just moved in today, all my stuff still in Toronto. Heading back Thursday to rent a UHaul and bring my shit down here.

No cable, internet, radio, bed, chair, etc. etc. Just my laptop, CPAP machine and some clothes, I'm sleeping on the bedroom floor tonight.

Rent is $380 a month, partially subsidized by the fine folk at the Canadian Auto Workers Union - (market rent is $650).

I have a balcony but am only on the second floor above the businesses on the first floor.
The rocks are on their roof.

The reason I got the place under the subsidy is because the higher floors are more desirable and easier to rent. I believe the building has 15 floors.

Actually I'm going to lose at least 50lbs by the fall.

I got rid of my car and have started walking much more frequently. I enjoy the exercise and with the warm weather I am very motivated to keep my walking routine going.

Being sedentary all winter has made me miserable, and even more out of shape.
I need to address this - and have already started.

Walking is a great start. Having healthy snacks available is key as well. I also recommend if you get your drink on, to try vodka, soda with lime wedge... Delicious and lower calorie option than beer. You can do it plommay... It's not likely you will be watching Leaf hockey for much longer this season.
