Really when you look at those back to back, she deserved to win an award, it's almost mind blowing.

Also, anyone else find it more difficult to get aroused by her than before?

Something about that character and the roller skating and what not, I dunno, it fucked me for life I think, I was a BIG fan.

It's fantastic for the price. My current favorite Pinot.

Yellow Tail is garbage EI.

I'm not going to get into this debate, fact remains the quality of a wine is user dependent and most everybody I talk to uses price or the latest review as the main factor in determining quality. The recommendation was a half joke since it is an Australian wine. Garbage? it's a basic affordable wine. I've had everything from vintage bottles of Ruffino Ducale to juice in the box. Most people judge the quality of a wine by it's price which says a lot....you all keep buying your expensive wines.

Here is a review, the author is well respected and the comments are consensus

I will take a blind taste test any day of the week. And, I really don't give a shit about a blog. I have had $15 wines that are better than $30 bottles, that's a fact, and I don't need someone else's opinion to determine the facts. The thing is, the longer you drink wine, the more you learn. I am probably a novice but I do know a good bottle when I have had one. This Angela tonight was outstanding. It's a cut above. Yellow Tail is not something I would consider good. Although, about 10 years ago, I would have said it was good. What I am saying is, your tastes are constantly evolving. Much like the grape, and wine in your bottle.

Just drink Yellow Tail for Christ's Sake

Well, I agree with this to a certain degree. If you're a new wine drinker and have never tasted good wine, Yellow Tail is very adequate.

The problem is, don't even THINK about trying good/great wine and then think you can just go back to Yellowtail. It will taste like turpentine

There are very good Shiraz/Cabs and Malbecs out there in the $15-$25 range.

Spot on.

I'd like to add/agree that I've had plenty of $15 bottles that were better than $35 bottles.

The most I've ever paid for wine in a non-restaurant environment is $49.00 (The Struie by Torbreck).

I refuse to drink the $75/$100 bottles because I'm worried I won't like the $15 bottles anymore.

Do you guys have the Naked Grape stuff in the US? Their unoaked Malbec-Shiraz is my favorite cheapie. Goes great with pizza.

Okay, this is all a matter of opinion, so let's get that out there. It's like saying Britney Spears is garbage. I think it is. It's also like me saying Yellow Tail is garbage. So don't be offended if my opinion of what someone else thinks is fantastic is that it's garbage, because it is just an opinion. Ok, now that that is over, instead of spending $9 on some crappy Yellow Tail, spend $15 on a bottle of 7 Deadly Zins. It's only $6 more, and it's 3 times as good. That's +EV.
