I played Planet Caravan on stage to accompany my 11th grade GF's poem. (Sabbath song, I know, but Pantera's cover is how I discovered it.)

Ben Stiller's mom died. Anne Meara is her name I guess. If I knew how to post pictures, I would. You would recognize her. I saw her last in Sex and the City movie.

Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller were a comedy team roundabout 40 years ago and probably even further back.

She was all over the 70's. Sitcoms. Also a regular on game shows, I remember.

How did you come up with this idea? I wouldn't have thought you even heard of Planet Caravan.

It was one of the first songs I learned on the guitar. It's one simple riff repeated ad nauseam. The GF liked it.

I think Pantera's cover is superior to the original. The quiet solo at the end gives me goosebumps. Dimebag was one hell of a player.
