She did try to be a comedian at times. Same as the fashion bit: bitter, troll-woman style. I won't say shtick because I believe she went through life feeling genuinely crappy about herself and the constant compensating was not an act. Fortunately for her there is a huge, low-self-esteem constituency out there and she could be one of its heroes and it could be a career.
