I mean, it never left in a number of states. Furthermore the federal government rarely executes prisoners on death row and thats probably not going to change in the near future. This headline is a nothing burger meant to whip up Twitter users on both sides of the aisle. Good placement in this thread.

Penal codes and enforcement are another perfect example of something uniquely suited to the states that big government lovers think need be controlled by the fed.
