I have a 1oz platinum coin from a 2016 coin deal gone wrong. Been waiting for the price of platinum to climb over 1000-1100... I'm learning now that platinum isnt an investment metal (gold) its not an industrial metal (silver), its basically a jewelry and coin (for morons) metal... fuck.

Shouldn't trading be halted completely during this mess? Keeping markets open is only benefiting the wealthy who can buy at hugh discounts.

Maybe that's the whole point of this fucking thing. Somebody's making a fortune reselling toilet paper

Alright so a little unrelated....but ok so now I have my bank account now.. So....I transfer a hundo as a test run to Coinbase, which I've had for awhile....I've been able to instantly send funds from Coinbase to poker rooms in the past, but to be honest they were all winnings from freeroll sites (post online poker government crackdown), so they went to poker rooms instantly.

Sure I'm good enough at freerolling and am thankful for what I've won from it, but I want to ramp things up.

So, Coinbase holds my hundo up for 14 days? I that's a little rough, especially for such a small amount of money.

Anyone suggest something better/quicker that doesn't take too much time to learn? As much as it could be cool to be a BTC expert, that's not what I'm going for, this is specifically for poker. I heard from a good source that Nitrogen has soft games, so I'm getting set up there.

I also have a Netspend card on the way as per Casper's recommendation :hattip:

The goal here is fast money transactions when they need to be made, and to play the softest poker games I can find online.

I'll never fucking understand Bitcoin. As long as its value is constantly fluctuating, how the fuck can it be a currency?

Like stevey here, say I want to deposit $1000 in a poker site so I buy $1000 worth of Bitcoin... but by the time it processes I might have $983 or $1071 or some shit? Same with withdrawals? How is it practical as anything besides essentially a stock investment?

Exactly, yet all books prefer it?

I'm looking to sweat my pocket aces holding, not my deposit holding steady before it even hits the site.

It's a small sample size but that hundo I told you guys about on Coinbase is now $104.41. Woo hoo, not.

He's the kicker - I can now transfer $8.37 to a site, if I choose. I have on my task list to find an alternative for fluid deposits/withdrawals, but I'm pretty busy. When I get my Wells card here in the next day or two I'll try to send straight to a poker room with it and see if they freeze my shit like Paypal. Thing is if you do that, you're likely waiting awhile for a check when you withdrawal.

Annoying.

I’m going to attempt to fund a BetOnline (new) account using Bitcoin for the sole purpose of playing low-limit NL cash games.

Now that I think of it, I should see if Bookmaker has poker first because I’m already funded there.

Best of luck.

Please advise on how it is.

I tried numerous times to do this and couldn't figure it out. Most of the time I tried while drinking, but still pretty tough to figure out. The easiest way to do it is call your account specialist and they will usually waive fees and walk you through other methods.

I have had a Betonline account for years. They have been solid. I don’t understand bitcoin, so I never bothered.

I funded my Bookmaker account with Bitcoin. It was a little tricky but only because it was my first time doing it.

I’ve yet to withdraw money from Bookmaker yet; mostly because they make it much more difficult to withdraw funds than to deposit funds.

lol, yeah most offshore books make it harder to get money.

I miss the days when BetJamaica had a debit card they would put your winnings on in a 24 hour period. That card was fantastic.
