Baseball thread for the year

I am going to keep my baseball picks in this thread. I am glad NBA and NHL are both winding down for the season as I am excited to concentrate on fewer sports.

I am really busy with work and been on the road alot so I don't have much time today for write ups, hopefully it slows down over the next month.

I had an atrocious french open and barely broke even in the ncaa tourney and nba and nhl playoffs, not worth the time I spent on it. Going to be conservative the rest of the baseball year until football starts. All plays 1 unit unless listed otherwise

Fister is on the mound for Seattle and anyone with a 3-11 record but a 3.18 era and 1.17 whip certainly isnt getting much run support and might be worth a look, I have just watched Fister the last 2 years and I have not been real impressed even with an anemic Seattle offense behind him. Romero hasnt been fantastic lately but he has been facing the Phillies, Yankees and Red Sox.

The Mariners hitters should be a welcome sight.

I would normally take the first 5 innings on this wager but against the Mariner offense the run line doesnt seem like a bad wager.

Adding 2 more units on Texas , Reyes is usually a great fade and while Toronto is playing great ball , Texas at home has been profitable this year.
 
Adding Boston. Lackey is a always a crapshoot and facing Felix, but the number is too good against the worst offense in baseball.

Thanks Bayb. Braves came through for us, Lackey is a train wreck but the Mariners are a worse trainwreck. I love fading that team whenever possible

Getting the Yankees down today, awful price but read stats this morning, Yankees 28-5 in day games and Oakland lost 10 of its last 12 road games . Looking at Harden and Burnett , not excited by either but Harden has pitched all of 3 games this year.
