i love nouvelle vague. the guy gets girls to sing pop standards phonetically in english (largely without them understanding the meaning of what they are singing). very interesting results.

Music For The Masses, Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion were released back to back to back and were IMO their best work by far.

Ultra has flashes of brilliance (It's No Good and Barrel of a Gun) but everything since those 3 albums has been plodding and a letdown for
most part.
