Wally will you be doing anymore On The Record series?

I think all were a moderate success except Daft because he is a dick!

I have a few requests.

Jello
Juror (did you already do him??)
Teela
Casper
CougarBait

The goal became to get someone kind of reserved to open up and expose themselves a little bit. Enigma answered questions honestly but I don't think we really learned all that much more about him. That fell on me and my questions and I kind of felt I failed on his and didn't want to rush into another failure.

I will see what I can come up with but no promises on sticking with your list, rather the ones on your list that haven't already been a part of the series. Although followup series could be done with Teela nd RJ I guess.

Wally, how sad does this news make you?

Savannah: no bras here

Officials in Savannah say they do not want bras displayed on a city street - even if the goal is to raise breast cancer awareness. City Manager Rochelle Small-Toney told council members that officials weighed the campaign with 'the appropriateness of hanging underwear across one of our main streets.' The Savannah Morning News reports that local radio stations wanted residents to donate bras that would be strung across Broughton Street at four major intersections. A car dealer agreed to donate $1 for each bra up to $5,000. Caroline Keller of the local chapter of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure says similar campaigns have been held in other cities without problems. - tbt* news services

Arch most people associate sinkholes with great big craters that that engulf entire houses. While those do occur the most common type are shuts or stacks. Normally 2-4 in diameter and straight vertical. This particular sink was in the 3’ range.

I probably wasn’t in as much danger as I thought I was but I was panicked. Most likely had I fallen I would have plugged the hole as they often get narrower as they go and not fallen the entire distance but I probably would have died of heart failure.

but wasn't it in a pool? was there water involved? any potential for drowning?

I guess I was picturing a bunch of water flowing into this thing, almost whirlpool like...

I thought about it a few times while working, and I got chills.... I hate that kind of shit

Wal, when you die. make sure its not like a freaky scary death...but if it is kinda scary, make sure I don't hear/read about it...

be careful buddy

I don't think he left....

but he posted something yesterday about going busto, but if I recall, the wording was such that it made it sound like he was done for the rest of the ncaa season....

guy is very disciplined about not reloading I guess

Arch, I'm not gone and probably not completely done with college football but not trying to worry about games every week. This year just hasn't been any fun. It's not about making money (although that is a plus no doubt) it's about enjoying the capping and capping winners. That's not the case.

First, Sargin Ratings, regardless of what anyone else thinks about them are way off this year. A good example is how high Florida has remained even over the course of 3 very bad losses. Since I use that as the base for my program if it's off then my program is off. Plus I still haven't completely gotten my program back the the original formula. It's close but something is still missing.

The biggest problem though is with me. I am missing things and not recognizing other things. I am reacting too fast at the opening and I simply don't have enough experience to properly judge how a line is gonna move. In previous years it really didn't matter to me that much because my program lines where just better.

Part of the problem is an old problem that I had gotten away from, personal bias. I am getting my mind made up about a certain team and even though I go through and research things out I am neglecting some of my findings in favor of what I "THINK" is better.

As far as my accounts go, I have always said that I allow myself a limited amount and if I don't want to go back to the horror days of my past I have to be very committed to being regimented is re-upping since I am not so strict about bankroll management.

Fok'n Wisconsin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wal don't worry about the haters. No one can win all the time. You are in a slump. Here is what I do when I'm in a slump. I quit looking at charts and rankings. I do what I call as betting with my gut. So here are my gut bets for this week:

Clemson -4
Syracuse +3.5
Kansas St +14

there are no haters here

Wal, I hear ya on the getting an impression locked in on a team or player early on.....and then not budging from it despite stats and new performances...

Livian Hernandez has been killing me in baseball due to that for about 3 years now....

Wal - you seem to have a pretty good idea of the teams in the SEC, just stick to them. It's really easy to get caught up in lines, line movements, etc. I bet 10 openers yesterday and a couple moved against me 2 points. It happens. If you have a limited bankroll, just flatbet everything.

I agree with Pavy, keep it simple. Instead of looking at must-wins, look at some teams coming off big games. There are a lot of look ahead and letdown situations.
