It’s definitely WAY more about oil than narcotics but Maduro is a straight up criminal who has BURIED his country by allowing virtual shipments of goods to be billed to Venezuela and then pocketed by countless individuals involved in the elaborate scheme. Narcotics, FRAUD like you can’t even imagine, bribery (extremely commonplace around those parts), money laundering at levels that would make your head explode.

Also Trump went after Maduro FIRST to make sure Khamenei & the terrorist Islamic Republic occupying Iran can't escape to Venezuela when the Islamic Regime falls & Iran is freed.

All of the IRGC's assets, drone factories and military bases in Venezuela are now in the hands of the US.
