The Long Walk - absolutely hilarious premise, terrible script, good acting, good but no frills production.

I dont know what I was expecting. Not bad enough to laugh at, nowhere near good enough to recommend or watch again.

I'm excited for the The Talisman adaptation. I read the whole brick twice as a teen.

Spike Lee joint starring Denzel Washington that pays homage to NYC. A good enough film that gets a half point deduction for a bad score mix during some dialogue: there is some ok jazz playing during dialogue BUT ITS TOO LOUD

A$AP Rocky does well here as the villian. Denzel is always good/great.

The movie had me wanting to get back to NYC asap (pun intended).

Not Spike’s best film. Not Denzel’s best film but I was glad I saw it. My adult son liked it quite a bit.

Black Rabbit (2025)
Netflix - limited series - 8 episodes I believe.

Jude Law and Jason Bateman - hard to go wrong with those 2 as the leads and it delivers. Gritty, dark, drama revolving around various crimes surrounding 2 brothers and the bar/restaurant they operate.

Slow(er) first episode, but it picks up quickly.

Lots of twists here. I would have ended it differently, but solid.
