From my understanding, the next 5-10 years are safe because all these language models leave tracks in the videos, with the correct tools one can verify these tracks and come to the conclusion that the video was generated/altered, in a court of law it will be proven, that it will be used to sway opinions yes but not to convict, the problem will come when the models are run on very powerful cpus with enough entropy in the encoding to say for example copy the signature that a Samsung Galaxy 2035 makes and leave no tracks of the model that created it, then things will be complicated
so we are at the mercy of the semiconductor foundries and how fast they can accelerate computing, Moore's Law and shit
