Maybe they said it can take weeks for it to appear (also unlikely past a couple days but whatever).

If you washed off the oil (on your skin an the clothes that came in contact with the plant) its impossible for you or anyone else to "spread" it.

Meant untreated can last 6 weeks.

It's definitely spreading around my body. Was a small dot on leg over a week ago.
