Matty how far north have you ever been in Quebec?

Not very. Embarrassingly not very. Saguenay region.

Northeast, I've been to the Gaspésie region but only up to Ste-Anne-des-Monts, not all the way to Gaspé.

Yah, probably need to hire specialized contractors. The owners live in more modern construction next door. Lots of inns are set up that way here. I'd be interested to look at their financials, it seems like a tough business to be in. Way too seasonal here.

When does the weather really start to turn up there, middle of November?

I guess it depends on your definition of "really start to turn". Average low of 2 celsius in October is pretty bad.

It's been muggy as fuck this week. Big rainstorm earlier so temps are starting to come down. But yeah, some nights will be close to freezing in just 3 months.

Slowly making our way back. Pit stop in Rivière-Ouelle where a lot of my mom's family still lives. We might go bug a great-uncle or two.
