Went from 185 on Dec 23 all the way up to 193 a few days after Christmas, down to 189 this AM, prolly back up to 192-193 tomorrow.

Cool thing about being (more) active is that the extra water weight goes away very quickly once you stop binge-eating.

Spent 1.5 weeks in Vegas and only ran once while there. Struggled this week to get back into things but felt pretty good on the run this morning. Little over a week left until the half marathon next Sunday!

Ima have my body composition professionally analyzed this Monday, then once more in a few months and one last time in 6 months to a year.

I'm not a crazy person, you're a crazy person.

Do what makes you happy.

Matty, what do you think my 2020 Cannondale Boy Boy 1 is worth now? I want to get a straight up road bike or (ooof) get another mountain bike. I paid $2,200 for it.

It has Shimano XTR clip ins pedals and 2 carbon fiber bottle cages on it. Very good condition. I don’t have room for 2 bikes.

I can’t get a good feel for what it’s worth by doing Google searches.

I guess what I’m saying is……what do you think the depreciation on the bike is?

Not sure Tron. Bike depreciation is highly location-dependent. The used market up here is way higher than in the US - I constantly see riculously low prices posted on reddit by 'muricans, in comparison to Ontario prices.

I see that a new one sells for 3000 CAD. 2-3 years old in good condition would fetch $2k or about US$1500 in Ontario. You probably won't get that in Florida but I'm not sure.

I just got back from the velodrome to check out the Canadian National Championships - a couple of my coaches were competing. Spectacular shit! There was one big crash in the Masters B category, two guys went down hard. They seemed ok though.

Start of the men's Elite keirin final

Thank you, @Matty
I listed the bike for $1,400. I’m getting offers for $900 from people likely assuming I’m desperate to sell. But I’m not.

Did my body composition test. The gym/studio owner is a hot cougar with massive tatas, also a motorcycle rider. Hubby is/was a racer who either owns or used to own a landspeed record on a sport touring bike. Amazeballs.

Anyway, I have a full page of data about my fat and muscle distribution. Current BF% is a bit higher than expected at 23.1% (@ 189lbs), most of it in my trunk (duh). Target weight that the machine spit out for me is 171lbs which would bring me to a healthy 15% body fat.

So I have some homework to do: first, get back to doing some upper body exercises (the lady suggested simply doing pushups regularly, enough to maintain muscle without interfering with the bike training) and up my protein intake to 20-30% of total calories consumed.

I shall test again once I've lost 10 pounds to see how I'm progressing and to make sure I'm not losing too much muscle.

Good stuff.

I prepaid for 3 sessions for 160 plus tax.
