Once inadvertently drank a 300.00 bottle of whiskey,my sister in laws aunt gave me the contents of here liquor cabinet for helping her move, didn’t realize what it was till after it was all gone.Didn’t taste anything like Crown Royal.Should have kept the empty bottle cause I think they sell them on eBay for like 50 bucks.
Also have two Jim Beam decanters(full) 1 a gun the other a VW bug will take a picture tomorrow

Jim Beam Decanters still full

Acquired as a gift for my father in law in thanks for architectural drawings over the years. So I'll have to wait to taste until we gift it.

I’d pay $100 right now for a healthy 2 finger pour. I’m jealous. Enjoy.

$750 (which I guess is a good deal)? My SIL works for a wine and liquor company who has an auction business. And she's got a couple side gigs for some of the auction clients valuing thier liquid portfolios and stuff. So when my FIL recently completed some drawings for our house he wouldn't take any $$. He's saved us maybe 5-7k in architect cost since we bought our house. Hes the kinda guy who will spend $200 on a bottle but wouldn't spend $750. So we asked the SIL if she could get a bottle and she pulled a favor with some old dude who has a bunch of vintages.

Until three weeks ago we were gonna buy him a solo stove as thanks but we went over there the other day and he had gotten one himself, so here we are.

I prob won't be able to tell the difference.

Curious how all that stuff works. I thought it wasn't even legal to sell liquor. I wonder what my Blood Oaths wood fetch at auction.

Yep, mostly hype. It's nice, but mostly an excuse to blow money

That Lot B is $50 an ounce at my local BBQ joint.

Yummy stuff.
