Damn. A couple guys I was working with yesterday were not even born yet. Humans have gone through an entire being-born-and-growing-up process - all the way into productive adulthood - since the last time I was in a tent. Time flies. And I'm old.

It's a 3.5 hour drive along shitty country roads. Doesn't look far but it's a decent trek.

Saw a little boy at the barber today who totally reminded me of JL. Good-lookin' little kid - very trepidatious at first. They set up the special booster seat for him and dad swung him up there and it was pretty exciting.
