Add another guy to this list if the Nationals win the title in 2016! Dusty did have some great years but never could get a team to the WS! Cubbies was his best shot!
 
My mistake, just looked him up that's right his Giant team lost to the Angels! Great hire then! :grin:

Quite surprised though that Blue Jays signed Marco Estrada as they did though. 2 years, 26 million.

Guy actually takes a cut in pay for year 1 over his qualifying offer - could have made 4 million more next season - to get the 1 extra year.

I really thought some hysterical owner would throw 5 years 80-mil at him. Something like that.

I don't know if sanity prevailed in the industry - since he's only had the one really good year - or he really likes Toronto so he gave us the hometown discount.

Didn't look into much and look for news from USAtoday site but their sports dept. isn't my go-to for sports! As bad as Phils are lots of new, young talent so expecting 95 losses at the most!

My parents went to his wake. They were treated like celebrities as the Carey family couldn't believe they would drive in from Michigan.
