My birthday is tomorrow but it's a stat holiday so cake at work today.



I originated the horsehead deployment for dopey occasions such as the earth being in the same position with respect to the sun and zodiac as when people were born.

My reasons are complex but suffice it to say: it just feels right.

Counting inventory tomorrow.

My company counts inventory 4x a year. I find that to be madness.

Don't think I ever worked anywhere that did that before.

It seems like our office has decided to take the entire week off, mostly by "working from home". Fokkin' slackers.

If you had to choose between seeing Imagine Dragons or U2, which would you choose? That is my biggest decision I have to make for work within the next 24 hours.

I would have to be paid by the hour plus expenses to sit through either Imagine Dragons or U2.

If I had to pick, I guess U2. I surely don't love them but they are familiar.

Since the 4th falls on a Saturday the sheet metal workers calendar says we observe it today.

Which means if I work tommrow I would have to be paid double time.

My shop is not going to pay me double time and told me to stay home.
So I went to the general contractor and said we will not be in tommrow unless they picked up our double time.
He laughed and said "get fucked"

So house has off tommrow.
