So not good.
I'd say it's a blip in the radar.

I've been reading and following bitcoin for a while now and I'm pretty much convinced it will be around for a long time.

Maybe not under the name of bitcoin, perhaps a competitor or a replacement using the same principles.

Right now the biggest threat to users seems to be having their bitcoins stolen or confiscated.

Look at the FBI, they will be cashing in their seized bitcoins, not destroying them.

If you are looking at bitcoin as an investment you may be in for a rough ride or you could become rich but it will be around as a digital pseudo-currency for a long time (IMO wally).

The price is unbelievably stable despite the chaos.

before there was google there was altavista

before there was facebook there was myspace

before there was firefox there was netscape

before there was _____ there was bitcoin

paypal has to be paying close attention

i think there will be a dominant, global virtual currency at some point

The answer is dogecoin. Before there was dogecoin, there was bitcoin.

paypal has been freezing vendor money with anything bitcoin

paypal are a bunch of fucking thieves. They cannot be trusted, consumers have no protection vs paypal.

The price is unbelievably stable despite the chaos.

I think bitcoin stability will continue. Early adopters were rewarded with hugh gains, once it's widely accepted and stable there shouldn't be much fluctuation in price.

I wouldn't look at bitcoin as an investment, it's just a tool.

Ive seen a lot of bitcoin-based online gambling sites emerging. I guess this is all because of the great advantages that bitcoin can offer for gambling sites like fast transaction, anonymity and risk-free.

And being able to steal your bitcoins without any repercussion.
