Walking down the street looking north towards Detroit.

Saw a bright white object flying very slowly over the Detroit river at high altitude.
I watched it fly for over ten minutes as it went from east to west.

It was not a plane. I saw planes in the sky at the same time and they were moving much faster and were easily identified as planes.

I even stopped a guy in the street and pointed it out to confirm I wasn't seeing something that wasn't there.
He was as intrigued as I was and agreed it wasn't a plane.

We figured it was monitoring the US/Canada boundary over Lake St Clair and the Detroit river.

Pretty cool to see.

I'm sure the Canadian government was made aware of it Pavlos. In case you forgot Canada and the US are allies.

Pretty sure they were just patrolling. They don't need to spy, if the US wants to know something from Canada all they gotta do is ask, and the Canadian government will tell them.

I was just kidding Plomski. :xoxo:

I know enough not to point, pal.

did you try shooting bbs or paintballs at it? See what kind of response it brings?

To be devils advocate could it be used for science reasons like monitoring migration birds or some shit? I know we live in a world of fear thinks to our government, but not everyone is out to get everyone else.

I have no guns, pal. Never fired a weapon other than a pellet gun as a kid.

Who knows what it's real purpose was, I have nothing to fear - I'm 100% certain I am legally allowed to be in Canada.

The drone was on the US side and continued west over Michigan.
