I don't even know how to respond to this shit. I would like to ignore it. Although, he was a good friend of mine in college and wouldn't mind keeping in contact nevermind the investing in a salon on the east coast bit.

I wouldn't mind being a silent partner in a business as long as I thought it had legs. Actually, I'd prefer it. I'd rather have someone else put the time into it. I just don't know how successful a salon could be. I'd need a lot more information.

Definitely. Just came from nowhere. Also odd that he'd text me rather than call. Seems like something you'd try your best to ask face to face especially if you've pretty much lost contact with that person.
