Bought A New Guitar Today

Played a Martin and a few other Taylors...the Martin sounded dead compared to this guitar. Looked at the 314 but decided I could barely tell the difference between it and this 214 which is what I settled on. Matty, sounds like a fucking orchestra when I strum. Now if I could only learn more than 2 chords I'd have something...

Nice! Well played Mr. Bait. I've never played a 200 series but I know that the 300's are incredible value.

I'll be shopping for an affordable electric next month, I'm thinking something along the lines of an Epiphone Casino or a used American Telecaster, along with some electronic bits that'll allow me to record fancy-sounding shit easily. (POD HD500 floorboard)

I played the 314ce first and honestly the difference was negligible. In fact, I think the 214ce might be a tad on the bigger, brighter side which is what I was going for. It was an easy decision at a $600 price difference. Make sure you post some pics when you get your new electric.
