at the 30 sec mark it is obvious to see that they chubby guy was planning some sort of wicked drug fueled martial arts barrage that you execute sitting on your ass.... he had just gotten into the lethal position when that heroic officer came in and saved his buddies ass...
 
The enthusiastic cop will no doubt face criminal charges and eventually be kicked off the force, only because the force can't cover this up or protect him.

My guess is he won't be very tough behind bars. Cops are popular with inmates, he'll get his chance to prove his toughness then.
 
I know I am obviously in the minority here and I am in noway justifying what the cop did in the first video but take a second and really think about it. How many times have we seen videos when a cop took a passive approach in something like a routine traffic stop and the perp pulled a gun and took a shot at the cop. Or when breaking up a domestic disturbance and the victim took a swing at the cops?

When a cop steps out of line they should face the same punnishment an average citizen does but every single day they have the potential to walk inot the line of fire. There are bad cops out there and I personally know a few of them that shouldn't have a badge but as a whole I can't think of them as bad.

Agreed, I'd be thrilled if they received the same treatment as everyone else, getting rid of bad cops is almost impossible up here.
