choo before I was a sports fan I was introduced to gambling, and before I learned how to bet I was introduce to booking. so I was working for some people, I was an almost meaningless piece of the puzzle and it was the champions league final 1999, the most wagered event in asia. super mario's bayern munich against manchester united. bets were coming in overwhelmingly for man u, and the group I was with decided to stay with that position.

so the match starts. very exciting, I had only been at it for months literally, and there were huge sums of money on the line, stuff that I had never even dream of seeing before my eyes. of course none of that was mine but naturally I was on the side of my people. right at the start basler goal, euphoric! the match goes on, under control, chances here and there everything was perfect. injury time comes and man u pulls off one of the most magical moment in soccer history, it's best for you to see the video, I can't adequately describe it. but that bayern lost, of the match and most importantly of the bet is something that I still remember in my stomach to this day. and it was unlike a bad beat, our livelihood, it was something that hurt us for awhile.
