Hope everyone has a great day today on the last official summer BBQ day of 2011! Going food shopping for Daddy later and he will stop over for some chicken and the sort later in the afternoon! Other than that just another quiet day on the homefront!

Please, if anyone wants to give us some of their opinions on plays that seem to be winners, please do here! Maybe a quick line or two on their reasoning! Looking over games myself now and as always will probably be a crapshoot!

A young Louie Tiant and also a pic of Juan Marchial! Don't know how Juan did that leg kick when pitching! The players today woukd probably go on DL from it!

Only caught the tail end of his career, but Marchial always played second fiddle to the Koufaxs and Gibsons of his era! Just looking at his stats did most of his damage in only 11 years with 218 wins!

Big series starting tonight MrM! We honestly need a sweep to have any chance at the division though.

I wouldn't waste my energy on winning the division! Braves should just get ready for the playoffs! Don't matter how many games Phils win now, anything can happen in October especially if the bats go silent!

Taking the Dodgers -.5 for 1st 5 at +125! Both pitchers (Kuroda and Lannen) have been consistent this year but Dodgers have been playing better ball of late! Without Either and Loney the Nats starting 8 appears more potent but some surprise RH pop in LA's lineup hopefully will produce lead after 5!

Its not a big deal, but after hearing about this dominant super team in Philadelphia all year it'd be fun to see the Braves -who've been COMPLETELY under the radar and ignored - catch them at the wire. Just as a fuck you to ESPN et al.

Once college football started I stopped paying attention to baseball, but Cubs ML -131 with Garza on the hill isn't a bad bet. Also might lean to the Toronto RL if playing that Blue Jays game.

Again, haven't checked lineups or anything.

Late afternoon has us on the Giants -115 ML!

Bumgarner IMO the of the top pitchers in NL and these guys are supposed to halt losing! Stauffer also a quality guy but believe the amount of innings he has pitched this year after years of nagging injuries has caught up to him! Wind blowing slighty in from left even though neither team hits the HRs!

Both teams continue to struggle offensively but the Padres got their win for the week on Sunday! Giants need to wake up and will grind out a win!

Pat the Bat Burrell might even come off the bench to win it in the 9th! Him and I both love the pussy! Only difference is he get's it and I don't!
