We were good boys in the end. Had some wings, watched some hockey, played some Scrabble. Very wholesome - the kind of weekend that nourishes the mind and the soul.

One of the many highlights was at the Hockey Hall of Fame. We got to walk inside a replica of the Montreal Forum's home locker room, which was a holy place for a lot Montrealers who grew up watching La soire du hockey/Hockey Night in Canada. So many idols were shown on TV, preparing for the big game. Standing inside that space was a major thrill.

I also got to touch La Coupe Stanley

Blitty later forced me to stand besides the Cup like an idiot so he could take a pic. I'm glad he did.
