For some reason, Bill and John love to be so secretive about their moves.

Dave, do you know that Bill said that he gave you a month notice?

They can be secretive all they want about their personal moves. Personally since it's a public forum I think the posters are owed more. But, what's really pissed me of is their complete silence on important sportsbook issues like matchbook. Rumors all fall matchbook was fucked, sbr says nothing stays at A- keeps banner. January banner comes down, matchbook moved to B-, sbr says a few briefs things but basically nothing.

Not to take the topic away from Dave.

What are you up these days VD?

LOL. Ganch filled me in on Matchy. They were trying to unload it for a steal.

Virginia is as well and there have been plenty of local cases where there has been little to no documentation and ended very badly for the companies involved

Yep. Employers have very little rights anymore. It sucks because the lawsuits have taken a huge hand in crafting a nation of extremely lazy and incompetent employees.

Yea, Costa Rica labor laws are perhaps easier to skirt.

I am sure they are. Same with tax laws.

Would have been nice to have had some actual info on that months ago. But whatever they sent me my whole balance in about 30 seconds last week.

I forgot what he said they were asking. I think it might have been only $250k. It was a shockingly low number. Ganch said they were trying to figure out why they wanted so little for it. He didn't know if Matchy had its own financial problems or if it was simply because WSEX was in trouble.

That sounds absurdly low.

The forum rumors were that matchbook way overextended credit and was seeding it's own markets and couldn't pay credit players and needed to be bailed out.

Beats me what really goes on with these books... They still haven't missed a beat paying out though, while wsex still takes forever.

Reload gets 2.12 an hour + .21 for every post he moves from one forum to another (apparently regardless of whether or not it belongs).

I bet his pay cheque will take a hit with plommer et al not posting, moving his hairy cunts to the PZ must have made up half his wage.

September 10th, I went into work just like any other day, put in my 9 hours, and was met outside as I was walking to my car and told that I wasn't coming back to the office anymore.

Uh, wow.

Sorry to bail on you guys, best bud came by. Proceeding.

Do you want Kovalchuck on the Kings?

Short answer, no.

Long answer, obviously I'd love to have him, he's a top sniper in the game. The problem is I don't think the timing is right at all. With other teams in the hunt, the Kings will almost certainly have to overpay to get him; and parting with blue chip prospects/current solid players for 2-3 months of Kovi's services make no sense to me. The team hasn't been to the playoffs in 8 years... expecting them to make a serious cup run in most of these kid's first go at it, even with Kovalchuk, is ridiculous in my opinion.

I think it is a season too early to mortgage the future for a rental player. That said, Dean Lombardi is very sharp and I extremely rarely disagree with his moves; so if we get Kovi, I can only hope it is for a fair price.

were you allowed to say nigger in the sbr offices?

Not sure if there was actually a rule on it... I never did, and never would, it's a word I dislike.

That said, interestingly enough, there was a certain company-man who on more than one occasion called our country's President a "monkey"... I guess that's okay.

Forget it Dave how much were they paying anyways? I am sure you were worth the $ but they were not getting what they wanted for the $ if you catch what I am saying, as recent events have shown they don't have a clue anyways so fuggggggggggggg emmmm

I was set to make 45k/year, but since I couldn't afford to move out there, I was forwarded $3,000 of my salary and so my first year I was making 42k (3500 a month).

That's actually one of my favorite parts of the story... after being fired, I was offered a writing gig for less money which I declined. Upon declining, I was told that since I'd only worked 7 months, I hadn't paid them back their $3,000 in full yet. So on top of not offering me any severance, they also deducted the $1250 I still owed them out of my last paycheck. As if the whole fired without warning after moving 1500 miles thing wasn't a "fuck you" enough, haha.

Dave, how often was I (betplom) the topic of discussion in the SBR offices?

Did you ever hear Willie Bee admit to enjoying my hairy pussy threads?

Every now and then, but not much more or less then the other troublemakers. Not sure if Willie ever commented on your hairy pussy threads, haha.

For the record, Willie is a fucking awesome dude, glad to call him my friend. One of the good things to come out of this mess.

Who came up with the points idea? Crazylou?

No, it was Bill's idea. I actually think it was a pretty cool idea in theory, I just thought it was launched without being properly ironed out. But everyone there seems to love it, so gotta hand it to 'em on that one.

Jesus Christ. That's fucking ruthless. What a bunch of cock fucks. I'm glad I don't post there any longer. They should have paid your relocation expenses to begin with.
