So it turns out that I don't need a CPAP for my Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I was prescribed a mouth guard which repositions my jaw which subsequently opens my airway up. This is good news for Daft.

Anyway, a friend gave me a sleeping pill last night. Cahban (10 mg). oWow. I haven't slept that good in 18 months. It looks like the scientist way of saying it is, Zolpidemum. Has anyone tried this stuff? Makes Ambien look like warm milk.

My issue lately has not been falling asleep. It's been staying alseep and getting enough oxygen. Reno gon laugh at this thread.

:wallay:

I have had difficulty sleeping my whole life. I'm sure fear of insomnia played some part in my addictive behaviors. I wanted to just knock myself out. The tossing and turning sucks so much.

I am just now getting to a point in life where I sleep okay for the most part. Maybe it just comes with getting older. I am not the kind of person who "falls asleep the second my head hits the pillow" but I sleep okay.

I have a great deal of experience with many kinds of sleeping pills (although not Cahban) and the only thing I would say is be careful with them - they can be very habit forming.

72-hour stimulant binge FTW

and then a xanax bar or two and you are down for a full day or longer...great for those trying to shed a few pounds...hah...

I realize that daft actually has a sleeping/breathing problem therefor this may not have much to do with him, but do you guys ever notice that the gambling boards are LOADED with threads about guys who think they have insomnia or some sort of sleep disorder? gambling brings on a humongous amount of stress...causes guys to lose girlfriends/wives... jeopardizes careers...turns guys into heavy drinkers/drug abusers...fucking shit is vicious... it cracks me up to see some kid at rbs talking about having a big sleeping disorder and then you go back and read a few of his posts and realize the guy is on a 40% run of bad luck...they dont realize we have all been there.

gl with the mouth guard and stuff daft, its no fun when you cant sleep...:nope:

Reno my ex finally started to wear the strips after I threatened to throw his dick in the blender if he didn't try them. He was one of those snorers who was so loud he'd even wake himself up with a jolt several times a night.

After trying a few sizes and MacGyvering them, they did actually improve his snoring and help him to breathe although he eventually went for an operation so they could fix the problem completely.

I actually had a deviated septum and had the operation and it did nothing for me except provide me with 24 hours of agony from the stuffing up my nose. I actually have sleep issues myself. I cannot maintain a constant sleep without medication. I've been taking a half tab (25 MG) of an often prescribed med for sleep issues. It's called Trazadone which is classed as an anti-depressant. It's used to counteract the side effects that other meds cause for people who develop sleep issues from other types of meds. This shit is awesome with no side effects. Before I started taking this stuff I used to wake up about 5-6 times a night for years. This stuff does wonders for me.

Shari, good sex will do that to you! God, you must be talented. Ever do it in the outback under the stars?

Why thank you MrM!

This was the location of my Outback sexpo.

At Uluru. Which actually looks like nothing more than a plonky rock in photos but is a surprisingly magical place.

xanax like mentioned earlier.
it will make you sleep like a baby.
1 mg would be all you'd need to begin with

lol mike. common.

.25 mg is fine for those that have never used it or rarely use it.

Mikey I was just about to make a Do You Miss Mike thread. Glad you're back. I'll include you in the shout out list in the live video feeds from NOLA this weekend.
