Although I will admit that I love Schwartz's and that it's delicious....Katz' clearly wins this one. The pastrami is so tender and succulent, that it melts in your mouth. They have Made it the same way there for like 150 years.

Nice Blitty. I never had Katz's so I can't tell but it sounds fantastic.

I was at Schwartz for lunch and they had a cartoon hung up on the wall - it referenced a Montreal Gazette article in which the reporter claimed that Katz's was superior. Schwartz itself realizes that their legend is a bit overblown... there was also a recent article that quoted the manager as saying he didn't understand how or why people would be willing to stand in line for 30-40 minutes for a smoked meat sandwich. Tourists obsess over the place for some reason.

I also love the shit but calm your storms peoples.
