No on both counts. Divorse proceedings went forward and everything was fine. I lost touch with her about 6 years ago.

This was the DUMBEST thing I have ever done in my life. At the time it seemed like the right thing to do but I was chasing the ass to be honest with you. Even though I didn't know at the time exactly what was going on I did know something wasn't right.

It all worked out for the best for the mother and the children but it could have just as easily been someone elses kid or anything and charges certainly were a posibility.

Since that experience I have placed limitations on how far I am willing to go to be a good guy or chase a piece of ass.

Good deal. Glad you aren't talking to us from the clink.

It was 12 years ago. I had met this chick online in a chatroom on TalkCity. We had chatted for a couple of months and I had met her on a couple of occasions. She had left North Carolina in a hurry from an abusive husband with two of her children. When she fled the baby was with her mother-in-law.

She wanted to go back and see her baby and I agreed to drive her. When we got there the housekeeper/nanny had the baby and the husband hadn’t been home in a couple of days so this chick persuaded the nanny to let her take the baby for a couple of hours. We came back to Florida.

Now I didn’t know that was exactly how it was going down when it happened I found out when we got home.

This was at a period of time when I trusted that every woman was innocent and above all a mother. I was old enough to know better just not very experienced. As it turned out the father was truly an abusive crackhead and the child did belong with the mother but it sooooooooooo could have been a bad situation.

I still have this desire to be a knight in shining armor but I don’t go to this length anymore.

WOW, I knew you were a rebel
you dodged a bullet with that one

Also I forgot to mention I'm moving into apt. today. Good times. FML

Now we're talking.

Most of the guys on Andy's hockey team in Vegas are high functioning alcoholics. Although from gamelive standards, this story probably will look pretty tame.

We used to have diamond status at the Harrah's properties. Diamond status gets you access to the Diamond Lounges free food (appetizers) and drinks. I don't remember how we worked it out, but we brought some of the hockey team with us one night after the game to the lounge at Paris. Our friend Dave, went to the bathroom and never came back. We looked everywhere and just figured he wandered off. We made a serious search and were concerned for him. Not necessarily for his person, but for what his wife who had just come home from the hospital with their second child, was going to do to him when he didn't make it home. Eventually, after an exhaustive search, and seeing his car still in the parking garage, we all went home and figured that it would work out somehow.

Danny, who was friends with Dave and his wife, talked to her and agreed to go back to Paris for one more look. He found him by noticing his shoes under the bathroom stall door. The bathrooms in Paris are a very private affair with heavy wood doors on each stall and walls that go all the way to the ceiling. Danny shimmied under to rouse Dave.

Drunken Dave had gone to the bathroom, dropped his phone in the toilet, gave up on life and passed out. When he was awoken by Danny, he just wanted to leave. The bathroom attendant insisted that the phone be fished out of the toilet. After a back and forth, the attendant ended up getting the phone, and Dave went home to a very angry wife.

We are never allowed to bring Dave to the Diamond Lounge again per threat of bodily harm from Jill, Dave's wife.

The end.

Not the best of stories but, I'm still driving across Utah and meh....why not.

Thanks for sharing that Mrs.X!

Mr.X plays ice hockey?? How did I not know that? We should be best friends.

Hold off on that friendship, he plays roller hockey.

I just got my first pair of hockey skates. I've been skating on quads for five months and face planted several times on the new skates absent mindedly toe breaking. Quads are such an inferior skate. I think I might start playing on a coed hockey league here. Roller Derby is fun, but the bitches be crazy, not to mention all the work you have to do besides the skating. Work! Who wants that?
