Do you play exclusively with Aussie bookies or do you have offshore accounts as well?

I'd like to hear your opininon on your favourite bookmakers.


I myself use IASbet & Centrebet as my most trusted bookmakers.
 
Appreciative plommer that you would ask....IASbet & Centrebet are both solid books (as im sure u already know) with good reps and lots of good prop options to boot..Only thing dislike about them is too much juice on the spreads as AFL is the kind of game where close to EV or above can and should easily be attained imo...If u can access it pinnacle is quite sharp in relation to line movemnets on spreads and the juice is almost always better than -110 on spreads there :dance: Most comprehensive AFL book ive used is sportsbet.com.au Rated quite highly amongst AFL cappers with good value to be had on props...Additionally they offer PYOL (pick your own line) on a multi which i believe is unique in the marketplace atm and is fantastic... Know a few guys who clean up using them week in week out (with dividends of 7/1 +) but not touching them myself at this stage of the season....Personally use betfair for spread wagers as always get the best lines at the best value and centrebet/sportsbet for props.....

Are you talking about AFL lines specifically? I see decent lines on NBA from IASbet and nice props on MLB @ Centrebet.

Didnt know sportsbet do not offer $USD accounts. $AU is quite strong atm, thus can understand ur apprehension in not wanting to fund ur account there.... Is there anyway u could ensure that u recieve same exchange rate on withdrawals as u would deposits?? Although have some funds with iasbet i find their interface to be a frustrating experience as on multiple occasions had logging in issues and CS doesnt seem all that wiling to help resolve issues hence wont use iasbet until these technical problems are resolved....U r correct though in that they do offer better juice on nba lines (-105 to -107 i see there alot) but again personally the interface is just too much of a frustrating experience (for me anyway, hope youve had better luck than i).....Cheers for the heads up regarding prop lines on MLB, will check that out for myself :hattip:
 
I made my first deposit to my Sportsbet account today in $AUD, no big deal really because my Moneybookers account is based in $USD so any withdrawals from Sportsbet back to my moneybookers account will be converted.

Any other Aussie books worth using besides the ones already mentioned?

I'm a huge fan of the Aussie books, I still use offshore books like Pinny 5Dimes and Greek but usually withdraw when I build up a balance, I have no worries about my Australian accounts, I prefer dealing with bookies in first world countries.

Australia is the cats ass (or the bees knees)

Good to see you decided to jump in and nice work with the hook up for conversion :highfive: Apologees for not replying sooner but to answer your question nothing springs to mind...A safe book would be bet247.com.au as plenty of liquidity but lines are weak and props minimal...Only one that comes to mind anyway....Gotta agree with you about the last part...its the difference between having a book thats going to take your money or having a book that gonna make you money :thumbup:
 
lol same software but to be honest im more into offshore books (thegreek, 5dimes, jamaica, phoenix, pinnacle etc....) and not so much for their lines (although pinny is the 'bees knees' :thumbup:) but more for the advantages holding $$$ offshore brings in this country, esp during tax-time :cigar:

I did not know that, as a Canadian playing with an Australian book I'm not subject to taxes, plus gambling wins are tax free here - (as long as you are not a pro).
