Probably because they are not "offshore" being physically located in Canada.
They have first world options for payout methods.

Not really plommer. SIA is Irish. They have their servers here, but the money is handled by layers of sketchy institutions, as is the case with every semi-legal gambling org.

so why did they regularly slow pay for a fucking decade

They were inept.

SIA was what brought me to SBR years ago, they fucked up an eft payment to me and wouldn't do anything about it until Dozer got involved, I got my money not long afterwards.

SIA was amazing in a horrible way, it seemed like anyone I talked to on the phone had no fucking clue what was going on.

I haven't played there since 2006, low limits and slow payouts were the main reasons.

Yeah they are Irish based and I haven't been a client for years, obviously things have changed.

I'm fed up with almost every offshore book, especially CRIS.

Right now I'm funded at Betfair, Centrebet & Ladbrokes.

I just withdrew my balance from Bet Online via moneybookers on Thursday & haven't received my money yet. They tell me it will be in my Moneybookers account Monday.

5Dimes has been by far the best CR based book for me and I am not even playing there at the moment.

I would just take the regular check Illy. The 3-4 days they quote doesn't include "processing" time i.e. stalling-time-because-of-maxed-out-quotas. They can't even provide you with a tracking number for their "courier check" option - they say they don't even get the #'s until 2 weeks after they're mailed.

I`ve been holding out on going into SIA, but have decided that now is the time to take my share of what they give out. If anyone has used Moneybookers with them, I`d appreciate some feedback on a time frame that they pay using MB. They barely advertise MB on their sight, almost to the point that I wondered if it was even an option but did find a spot that stated their payout limits and MB was a part of it so I assume they do use it.

Please and thank you.

not sure where potato lives, but any american still playing offshore is a fuckin' fool. can't wait to get to vegas next week.

Exactly. Betting Vegas is overrated too. Fukkin Rio wouldn't take a $25 2-team fun teaser last weekend because it had a CFL team in it. Opening the sportsbook at 8:30 local time doesn't accomplish a lot when Cubs totals open at 7 AM.

Best option - find an agent and play offshore that way.

Ended up paying the courier fee. I requested the check last Thursday and it arrived this morning. Hopefully they can maintain that same time period throughout the football season.

Got some funny looks when I cashed it though. The Lady was hesitant and was asking why there was no address from the check. I'm not even sure exactly what she meant.

what is the rake at a check cashing store?

I see people here in the ghetto cashing checks there all the time, they have only 1 bank in this neighborhood, but very few around here have accounts there

I've always wondered that as well. I'd love to bring in my checks and leave with cash and have no record of it, but I'm an off the grid kind of guy.

I've been fortunate as far as not having to deal with checks over the past year . I still use the same place I used to cash all my sportsbook.com checks from a few years back. Just look for one in the most ghetto location you can find, your chances of having your check cashed are descent enough.

Check had compass bank, Denver Colorado written on it.
