Woo hoo Potato's Bodog check just bounced

get a internet based bank. i use everbank.com, send checks by mail. i suppose you are supposed to endorse them but ive never even seen one of mine so i guess not. no one questions where my checks come from ever, no hold ever either. i hardly use checks now though if wires are possible.

actually, i dont get payouts of any sort anymore so dont ask me.
 
His bank told him the check cleared then he gets a text this morning saying it was returned.

He's got two on him from Sportsbetting.com (late June, mid July). Wonder if they'll bounce too when he deposits them.

That Bodog check was from Florida. These are from Singapore. Sketchy as fuck.

I got a check from SIA once and I took it to the very branch it was drawn on. They would not cash or certify it. :potato:

It cleared, but come the fok on.

They have to certify it if you request it and pay the fee. This is part of the banking regulation in Canada.

The only way they wouldn't certify is if there was insufficient funds.
 
Now that I think about it, they did try to certify it, but the banker needed to talk with the bank account owner for some reason and no one at the SIA offices would pick up the phone.

Not sketchy at all.
