Why are the silver medal and bronze medal platforms the same height?

If I won a silver medal in the Olympics I would want to be standing a few inches higher than the guy that won the bronze medal. Doesn't anybody pay attention to details anymore?

The silver and bronze platforms are actually at different heights - the silver is 4" higher than the bronze. However in every single event the bronze medal winner is exactly 4" taller than the silver medal winner which gives the impression they are at the same height. Amazing coincidence. I believe that the 3 podiums are at different heights. It is just that the Gold metal platform is so much higher than the other 2 platforms that it makes it seem that the Silver and Bronze platform are at the same height. If someone will post up a picture of this, I believe you can see it.
