I took blue microdots. My GF and I took them.

I took 4. They were small I figured.

Drank a bunch of orange juice.

Waited like an hour then started to see really fucked up trails. Listened to Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath all night. Danced like maniacs. Felt this strange gluey "resistance" when we touched each other's hands....similar to how that scene in Lawnmower Man is.

Started coming down like 5 hours later. Shit was fucked up. Was trying to sleep. Then just gave up. Went outside to drive home in my white 86 Z28 with ttops and red interior (lol). Windshield wipers were moving and the car wasn't on. All I could say to my GF as she begged me not to drive was, "It's not raining!"

I didn't drive, and lived.

I don't remember my trips as much as I remember what I did when I was tripping. The last time was in the Denver Stapleton airport. Missed connecting flight to Fargo and had 10 hours to kill. I still have a picture of the in flight meal I took on the flight home that night. That is when you still got a meal on 2 hour flight. I have no idea why I took a picture of my food. I should look for that picture.


The stuff we did must have been weak. I never saw anything really crazy. I don't think I would have kept it up if I had.
 
We dosed a bunch of times. Good idea - watching Ace Ventura. Bad idea - watching Candyman. Good idea - sex on the beach. Bad idea - dosing when you are going through a bad time. Good idea - chillin with the homies stayin up all night. Bad idea - trying to sleep it off when it's not going good.

Watched Fight Club

Went to a local Italian place, got an Italian Beef (bad idea)

Cruised over to a park, smoked a whole pack of cigarettes laying on a blanket looking at the sky while listening to Pretty Hate Machine over and over on cassette tape
 
I watched Rattle and Hum in the theater on it. Then we went to the bar. It seemed like you could drink and drink on it and never get drunk. I don't know why we wanted to...but I remember doing it and it having a negating effect.
 
Did acid many, many times. Did it so much it actually fucked me up and I couldn't do it any more. It got strange.

But thinking back to when it was good, watching movies seldom seemed like the thing to do. Except Yellow Submarine.

Dealing with the public ---> always problematic due to potential hysteria.

Eating was pretty much out of the question.

I'm trying to remember what I actually did. I mean sometimes there would be a concert or something special so that would be great, but just normal times ---> sat or roamed around - outdoors at night ideally - and gabbed and philosophised with good friends. A campfire was a good thing.

The original series The Prisoner --> also good on acid.
 
I believe I've told the story before but I was in Clearwater, FL with poster Bread. We first went to a pawnshop to buy a CD boombox to bring to the beach, then we stopped at a drugstore to grab some beach chairs. I took 2 hits on the cab to the beach. It quickly got stormy out and Bread put a Bjork CD in the boombox. I remember everything was a dull grey except for that really bright royal blue chair or mat that was being pushed around by the strong winds.

After a while we had to retreat to a psychedelic beach bar with fish carcasses on the walls. We giggled the whole time there while I tried to eat some crab soup, but my appetite was gone by then. Bread called us another cab while I started playing the Ms. Pac-Man machine that was there. Again, we're just giggling at the thing until Bread gets a phone call - apparently our cab driver's been waiting for us for 20 minutes.

We load up the cab in pouring rain, and on the way to the Breads, I spot a store that sells only Sidney Crosby jerseys :wah:

At the Breads', we have no idea how to enter the house. We just stand there giggling until Robyn almost hits us with her car. She sees that we're soaked so she orders us inside the unlit garage. We're scared in the dark. It feels like 4 hours elapse before Robyn comes in and turns on the lights - that is when we spot a miniature plush dog on the garage floor (and thus Savior Dog is born.)

A bit later, I tell Bread that I still can't feel much of anything :)lmao:) so I ask for 2 more hits. Bread laughs hysterically, knowing fully well that I'm already gone.

We put on Requiem for a Dream on the TV and Bread tries to fuck with me by staring intently at me, immobile. I stare back at him and I see his right eye fall mid-face. I'm scared proper.

I snap out of it by looking back at the TV. Requiem for a Dream is pure genius - The movie knows I'm stoned! It knows! I explain that fact to (stone-cold sober) Robyn and she agrees with me.

Then we hang out in the Breads' fun room and I stare at Nick Nolte's face for hours while Bread dances by himself and repeats the same 3-4 words of non-English nonstop. I pass out around 1am - first hit was consumed at 2pm.

Good times.
