Robert Grifin aka RG-3 is one ultra talented athlete who just happens to throw one of the best deep balls we have seen is a while.

Boise St get's a thumbs down on their schedule but there is no denying that in big games they are big time.

Georgia still overrated as is Auburn.

South Carolina's defense is gonna have to improve in a hurry if either of my futures are to have a chance.

Florida spread the ball around and they look to be improved on the D-line but Brantley appears to have flashbacks of all those sacks.

That kid Keaton from Utah St looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.

Notre Dame's BACK, nope!

Vandy scores 45 points? You say sure but it was against Elon. There have been Vandy teams that couldn't score 45 points on some High School teams.

Nike should spend some money on getting humidity in Oregon so the Duck's can better learn how to deal with dehydration instead of buying all those uniform variations.

Fok'n LSU's talent keeps making Les Mile's appear to be smarter than he will ever be.

FSU as a sleeper to win it all is a gross over-estimation after watching their opener. All the components are there but not ready yet.

Bama's gonna be just fine.

Wisconsin is for realz yo!

Ray Graham is gonna win the Heisman out of Pittsburgh Tony Dorsett style

Penn State has some big backs

purdue sucks

ohio st. might be ok

Wisky, i'm still undecided on

looking forward to WVU

Don't know if I agree with you on Wisky either even though I have a future on them. They seemed to lose containment on the perimeter all night and that's not good because Michigan and Nebraska will whoop that ass if it continues. Plenty of time to fix it, I just wonder if they have the speed on D to keep teams that run that spread option honest, or if we will see lots of high scoring games this year.

Purdue sucks. They have QB issues. Either they have Drew Brees or Kyle Orton as their QB or they suck.

Don't sell Northwestern short. I know it's Boston College, but it was on the road, and they were using a back up QB, and not expected to win. Fitzgerald is one of the best motivators in the country.

I took some futures on Northwestern Cougs and even had Persa 125:1 for heisman (when does he come back)

I don't know anything else about NU, but I just love to root for them for some reason....

what do you think of the rest of their skill guys and defense?

The defense always plays as a unit, and that speaks to the team mentality Fitz brings into every single game. They also never give up no matter how much they are over matched (and that is often). As for skill guys, NW likes tiny quick guys for the most part and lets the line control the game. That's what you saw yesterday when BC got bullied on both sides of the line. NW ran the ball 54 times yesterday, and only threw it 24 times. That probably points to the backup being in there, but that does tend to be their thing. Ebert had a good year last year at wide out, but he's no superstar. You just have a bunch of fundamentally sound football players who believe every word their coach says. I think that's why you see them hang around in games, and sometimes win outright. They are always a decent dog play with the right matchup.

Kevin Parks is the going to be a super star. 3rd all time leading rusher in high school football history (over 11,000 yds) and redshirt freshman at UVa. 16 carries 117 yds and 3tds in his first college game. 5'7 waterbug with thighs like tree trunks. Remember the name.

Yes, Spurrier has named Garcia as starter for next week.

I hope Miss State wins BIG. I hate Auburn.

At some point in the season, LSU will have a misstep and it will be a coaching thing. Doesn't mean they will lose the game. But this happens every year.

Wisconsin does have a few issue's to sort out on defense but they can keep pace with just about anyone on offense.

They play to their level of competition that IS their problem..... I took the points and can't believe from what I saw of the game I covered...... it SHOULD have been a 50+ point blow out.....

Wally: Here is what I saw..... The BIG BIG favourites didn't cover, as a matter of fact they had trouble scoring the number of points they were favoured by.... Some exceptions did happen. I think there will be a lot more parity because everyone is watching.... there will be no favours granted to the troubled teen that happens to play good ball. I think the big potential stars don't want a scandal and won't juice like they were before. College football is a business where everyone makes money but the players. I always liked finding dogs that I thought could play a good game and potentially win outright. It will take a very good team before I lay 35 points right now. Very few teams are 5 touchdowns better. I concentrate on some of the lesser teams and lesser divisions but always look at the dog on the big TV college games. Squares love favourtes and the books know that and I feel most dogs are at least a point more than they should be. I try and find the under 7 point dog that can win out right. Money in college is made by finding the dogs not laying 30-40 points.

The books will adjust, and so must we..... good luck everyone
