Just opened a letter from the Denver TH Association. It is a copy of the pool rules.

One states:

"Swimming suits (not cut-offs or tennis attire) are required when using the pool. "Solo" swimming and nudity is prohibited. No incontinent persons with pampers/diapers are allowed in the pool." (sic)


What the heck is "Solo" swimming? Swimming in the pool by yourself? Since it is lumped in with apparel/nudity, I am thinking it has to be related to that.

I have googled it, and all I have found is that whatever it is also prohibited at the pool at Mandalay Bay.

If pool doesn't have lifeguard solo means you can't swim alone with no one else in pool for safety reasons..or it means Hope Solo is banned from your pool.

I think is for liability reasons. Like someone has a heart attack or stroke or even faints and he can't get out to call 911. Cause if it happens they will sue the pool even though is beyond their control.

I understand. It's still ridiculous. It discriminates against solo people. The result of an overly litigious U.S.

The rules have always clearly stated that they are not liable for any "accident or injury in connection with use of the pool."

Greedy lawsuit happy persons are ruining the world.
