Steve/'s, back to your original thread thought here.

Obviously being on the opposite side of these guys is not a long tern path to success nor is playing against home field in the playoffs. Actually there is a very strong argument that we (and the Giants) got very fortunate because without the 2 blunders on special teams San Francisco probably wins that game.

Win some lose some and this time we were on the winning (even if perhaps not right) side. Not so sure I will be taking the Giants in the Super Bowl though. As much as I really like how their defense is playing New England just seems to have the IT factor. No decision as of yet though.

Agreed on NYG/SF Wally.

I was talking about the Super Bowl last night and I see it as a pick em, which would indicate NYG ML would be the play imo but I will not be touching it with a 10 foot pole. What's weird is how much better than Brady Eli is playing right now but New England's D seems to be tightening up as well.

Should be good

:lmao: rj you good man. Maybe when I get winmorew174.com going you put up a google ad or something for me.

Steve/'s, I can't support that Eli is playing better than Brady. Eli has substantially better weapons to spread the ball around too than does Brady. I saw a very bad weakness with the Giants offensive play calling Sunday though. So many times Eli was getting pressured or pummeled simply because there are no quick underneath routes for him to dump the ball off too.

What New England does and does maybe better than any other team out there is all those short crossing routes that allows Brady to get rid of the ball quickly and as an added bonus forces the secondary to cheat up and expose them to the deep ball.

Edge to the Giants on defense and they still have the best 3 receivers as a group on any team out there.

Good points Wally.

If Gronk is out it's hugh.

"TE Rob Gronkowski suffered a left ankle injury in Sunday's game. Though it did not prevent him from returning, he was seen wearing a walking boot following the game. His health status will undoubtedly be one of the biggest stories over the next two weeks."

2 weeks to heal is hugh as well.
