It's the national teams playing, it let's the players gel as a team. Only a handful of matches are played a year at the international level. The bulk of games for a player are with his domestic club.

Tough to figure out these friendlies with the best players in the world set to start la liga and premiere league play this weekend. northern ireland and russia in world cup qualifying match in a few hours. Russia has started league play and a few points behind Portugal in this group, northern ireland hasnt won a game and nothing really to play for, missing johnny evans and few key guys. russia -1
