I searched and there was a thread by Muddy with just his opinion on the top 2 shows, but I thought this deserved it's own thread, and would like to see what others come up with.

1. Breaking Bad (has 1 bad episode in the entire series)
2. The Sopranos
3. Ozark
4. Black Mirror
5. Seinfeld
6. Mad Men
7. Game of Thrones
8. Dexter
9. Curb Your Enthusiasm
10. Six Feet Under

I've never watched The Wire or The Office, although they constantly get recommended to me.

Sadly there's no chance Dexter is on there.

If we are talking highest highs, sure. Seasons 1 2 and 4 were some incredible television. But 5-8 😬.

Have been seeing clips of the new one out now though and may dive back in haha
Dexter is a show in my opinion that started out with top 10 potential but Jeesh did it jump the shark

I could’ve sworn I did one of these lol

Brought this concept up to wife and we decided TNG was the best of all the Star Trek series for the purpose of this list.

I have to say its all nostalgia and rewatchability. Its very clearly hack writing, mostly C+ acting and run down set design. But all in the best possible way?
I don't disagree at all. Rewatched some episodes a few years back. I enjoyed it. I'm not sure it's great TV by today's standards. I feel it would easily make a top 20 for me.

1. Sopranos (changed TV)
2. Breaking Bad (the only episode w the fly sucked)
3. The Wire (gritty has never been felt on TV like this)
4. Mad Men (brings you into that era flawlessly)
5. Cobra Kai (yes…it’s just perfect sentimental fluff that was WAY better than it needed to be)
6. Game Of Thrones (Last season hurt the ranking)
7. Friday Night Lights (best sports related TV show ever)
8. Frasier (better than Cheers in its totality)
9. Bojack Horseman (best animated show ever)
10. Dallas (the best soap opera of all time and it lasted 343 episodes!)
